The day has come that I actually will have my own website up and running in the near future. One of my internet friends on the other side of the globe, offered to learn me the ropes of blogging and setting up my very own website and I’m very, very grateful for that.
You know, being a Dutchie and English not being my native language, it isn’t always easy to really comprehend all that tech stuff written in English. Speaking and writing in English is one thing, but getting all that technical stuff into my 70 year old brain, was quite something else. I got stuck right from the start and couldn’t understand how things worked in WP.
I always felt a little jealous when I saw all those beautiful website on the internet and I often got so mad at myself because, though I like to think I’m a rather smart girl, I couldn’t get a grip on this web stuff. But one is never too old to learn. That’s what my mom said when she was still alive. She started computering at the age of 90 years old.
Anyway, as I said, I’m very grateful for this opportunity and if you’re ever in the same situation I was in, I recomment strongly to visit the website Smooth Stuff. You will find all kinds of interesting and helpful articles, which might help you too on your first path towards your own blog or website.
I write about a lot of things. It so happens that I have a lot of hobbies like my sweet old farmhouse, my pets and sheep, my garden and my poetry/photography. For a start, so you will know a little bit more about me, I’ll show you me in a little rhyme.
