"And the fourth kingdom [Rome] shall be strong as iron, since iron breaks to pieces and subdues all things; and like iron which crushes, it shall break and crush all these. And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of [baked] clay [of the potter] and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom; and so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle and broken. And as you saw the iron mixed with miry and earthen clay, so they shall mingle themselves in the seed of men [in marriage bonds]; but they will not hold together [for two such elements or ideologies can never harmonize], even as IRON does not mingle itself with clay. And in the days of these [final ten] kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people; but it shall break and crush and consume all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever." - Daniel's Interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream in 604 BC
God wants to consume every stronghold of division that exists in your life.
A united team (or organization) will always conquer a divided one.
You are apart of a great leadership inheritance and have incredible potential. But you need to address the weaknesses of your team and organization.
We live in a society where everyone seems divided and sensitized over their own "rights"; but Kingdom leadership is rooted in a foundation that says you have no rights, because the Word of the King is law, power and authority.
God's promise to you is a law–a law that is powerful, invincible and stubborn to resistance.
But you must contend for it. When you refuse to take a stand, or fight for what you have,
. In a kingdom, organization or marriage, when one passionately stands for truth and others oppose it, there is weakness.
That's why King Solomon wrote: "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." Notice that iron cannot mingle with clay. Daniel wrote: "But they will not hold together [for two such elements or ideologies can never harmonize];" Everyone that comes into your life is not good for you. As leaders, we must carefully choose those in our sphere of influence.
Who or what are you bonded or mingled with?
In your marriage, job, industry, church or board of directors, are you united or divided?
You cannot be invincible and divided (in purpose, faith and belief) at the same time. You will not survive long. Whoever and whatever is not a strong element (iron) on your team must be strengthened, converted or cast out.
Today, your greatest enemy does not lie without, but within. You have a responsibility to maintain the integrity of what God has put inside of you.
Leadership RESPONSibility is the ability to provide godly response to the differences we find in each another and avoid the disruption and flow of God's presence in our lives.
Keep yourself in the love of Christ. Let nothing separate you from it. Refuse to practice offense with God or man. Don't steal time from God in the morning trying to find ways to defend yourself against people you "think" don't like you.
As living stones, even when we are chosen by God, we will be rejected by men.
"Since you have [already] tasted the goodness and kindness of the Lord, come to Him [then, to that] Living Stone which men *tried and threw away, but which is chosen [and] precious in God's sight. [Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [those] spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ. For thus it stands in Scripture: Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen (*honored), precious chief Cornerstone and he who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] shall never be *disappointed or put to shame." - Apostle Peter
